Pats D Unstoppable, Setting Record Straight On Kaepernick, 4 Teams Left MLB Playoffs

FOOTBALL

The New England Patriots defense is unstoppable. In a Thursday night matchup with the New York Giants, the Pats D picked off Giants’ rookie quarterback Daniel Jones three times, had one fumble recovery, one blocked punt, one sack, and two touchdowns for a decisive 35-14 win. In an unbelievable stat, cited by The Ringer, “the Patriots defense and special teams is averaging more points than all but two running backs (McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook), every single receiver, every single tight end, and all but six quarterbacks.”

The Colin Kaepernick story needs a reset according to his agent Jeff Nalley.  Nalley posted a two-page document entitled”Facts to Address the False Narratives Regarding Colin Kaepernick” to set the record straight about why all 32 NFL teams still haven’t signed the 31-year old Kaepernick who “has the same skill set that many of the young mobile quarterbacks flourishing in the NFL right now.”

We’re down to the final four teams in the Major League Playoffs. The National Leauge Championship kicks off on Friday in St. Louis with the St. Louis Cardinals facing the Washington Nationals. In the American League, the Houston Astros face the New York Yankees on Saturday in Houston.
