Odell Beckham Jr. Without Signature Hair, Manning Responds To OBJ, Elliott May Not Appear At Camp

FOOTBALL

Odell Beckham Jr. arrived at the Cleveland Browns training camp without his signature blond dreadlocks. Beckham Jr. told USA Today Sports, “My mom blessed me. I’ve got the premium up top. I just wanted to cut it off and start over. In a sense, I felt like my hair, it had built a reputation of its own. Not to say that’s not who I am, but I’m much bigger than that. I might grow it back. But I just wanted to start over. I just wanted to clean the slate.”

Odell Beckham Jr. continued to stay in the news with his comment about his former team, the New York Giants and quarterback Eli Manning.  He told GQ Magazine, “I was a main reason at keeping that brand alive.”  Manning responded appropriately by saying, “I won a few games before he was here.”

In other training camp news, Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott did not join the team on their scheduled charter to Southern California. Elliott is looking to secure a massive contract extension, and it’s unclear if the Cowboys will agree.
