Manning Remains Giants QB, Cousins Passes To Sidelined Curry, Zion Returns

FOOTBALL

After the New York Giants traded Odell Beckham Jr, many wondered if they planned to rebuild with a new, younger quarterback. According to ESPN, however, the NY Giants plan to keep 38-year old Eli Manning as their starting quarterback for 2019.  The report noted that the Giants were possibly interested in trading for 22-year-old Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen if he became available. The team could also grab a quarterback for the future with their 6th or 17th pick in the NFL draft.

BASKETBALL

With 27 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, DeMarcus Cousins helped propel the Golden State Warriors to a big win over their rivals, the Houston Rockets. One of the most entertaining plays of the game, though, didn’t count. Steph Curry was standing off-court with a towel on his head when Cousins passed him the ball (mistakenly thinking he was in the game). Curry then made the three-pointer, but it obviously didn’t count. Warriors 106, Rockets 104

Duke’s superstar Zion Williamson is expected to return to the court tonight in a matchup against Syracuse. Zion hasn’t played since February 20th due to a sprained knee resulting from his Nike shoe exploding.
