Amari Coopers First Game In Dallas, Le’Veon Bell Tweets “Fairwell Miami”

FOOTBALL

Monday Night Football featured the Dallas Cowboys and the Tennessee Titans. It was Amari Cooper’s first game for the Cowboys since he was traded from the Oakland Raiders for a first round pick. Cooper scored early on giving the Cowboys some hope. Unfortunately for the team though, they couldn’t keep up the energy, and according to owner Jerry Jones, “It looked like we were tired. Throughout the game, actually tired. I don’t know if that’s the case at all, physically. But that’s what it looked like.”  Jones also denied he was thinking of firing head coach Jason Garrett. Titans 28, Cowboys 14.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell tweeted “Fairwell Miami” causing many to wonder if he’ll be reporting to team practices this week in anticipation of playing in the Thursday night matchup against the Carolina Panthers. If Bell doesn’t show up before next Tuesday the 13th, he won’t be able to play at all this season and could forfeit his ability to become an unrestricted free agent next season. Apparently, the team has minimal contact with Bell and don’t seem to miss him, as they’ve moved on with the stellar play of second-year running back James Conner.
