DeMarcus Cousins Going To Warriors, Rondo Joins LeBron, Brazil And Belgium Advance

BASKETBALL

DeMarcus Cousins agreed to a 1 year $5.3 deal with the Warriors. Cousins tore his Achilles tendon while playing for the New Orleans Pelicans and isn’t expected to be healthy enough to play until December.  Cousins commented about his deal, “This is my ace of spades. This is my chess move.”

In other NBA news, former New Orleans Pelican Rajon Rondo will join LeBron on the Lakers agreeing to a one-year, $9 million deal. The question now is whether Rondo will start over Lonzo Ball (they both play point guard). Ball was the #2 pick in the draft last year and was declared “the new face of the Lakers” by Magic Johnson.
