Crosby Slams Subban & Team Up 3-2, Girls Cut Hair In Solidarity, NBA Finals Tonight
HOCKEY
The Pittsburgh Penguins are up 3-2 in the Stanley Cup finals after a fired up Sidney Crosby led his team to a 6-0 rout. Crosby took out his anger during the game against rival P.K. Subban and slammed his head multiple times on the ice. Subban responded by putting Crosby in a head lock. Both received minors, but many were upset as they thought Crosby’s violation was much worse.   Game 6 is Sunday 8:00 pm.
SOCCER
Earlier this week, a story about a girl on a 11 year old Nebraska soccer team was disqualified from playing in a nearby tournament because tournament directors thought she looked like a boy. Soccer stars Mia Hamm and Abby Wambach weighed in on this controversy and sent the their support. On Thursday, the girls’ teammates cut their hair to show their solidarity.
BASKETBALL
The Golden State Warriors will try and lock up the NBA Championship against the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight. The Cavs’ LeBron James will bring his “A” game in order to avoid an embarrassing sweep. Friday night 9;00 pm ET.
