Adam Silver’s Memo To NBA About Resting Players, Brady’s SB Jersey Found

BASKETBALL

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver delivered a memo to NBA Team owners expressing his concern over teams resting their players when the players aren’t injured. He wants to make sure teams report when players have actual injuries, so the media and fans know if one of their players will be sitting on the bench or participating in the action on the court. Last week the Golden State Warriors sat their stars Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, while the Cleveland Cavaliers sat LeBron, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Clearly the fans and media weren’t too happy watching that lineup. ESPN issued a statement saying, “As always, our aim is to serve NBA fans with the best matchups involving the league’s top stars and we share the fans’ disappointment. We understand this is a complex issue and we’re working closely with the NBA to best address it going forward from a media partnership standpoint.”

The mystery of Tom Brady’s missing jersey is finally over. The now ex-director of a newspaper in Mexico City is reportedly the culprit in stealing two of Brady’s Super Bowl jerseys and possibly the Denver Bronco’s Von Miller’s helmet from Super Bowl 50. Officials were able to recover the jersey based on surveillance footage of this reporter walking in and out of the players’ locker room with a backpack. You can see the footage here. It’s reported Brady’s jersey is worth at least $500 thousand dollars.
