Olympic Ceremonies Begin, Team USA Men’s & Women’s BBall Favorites, Danny Trevathan Smells Good

OLYMPICS

The Olympic opening ceremonies begin Friday night at 7:30 pm ET after months of storylines disparaging the conditions in Rio, fears over Zika virus, and the doping scandal of the Russian athletes. All of that will be forgotten once the athletes mesmerize us with their incredible feats and heroic stories. Watch for Team USA basketball (men’s and women’s teams) to crush the competition. The men’s team consists of superstars, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Paul George and Kyrie Irving. With that lineup, they are -1600 favorites to win. The women’s team are -1400 favorites to win Gold.

Right GuardMost professional players probably don’t think too much about their smell during an athletic competition but some apparently take it very seriously. Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan told the media, he takes “pride in smelling good”. His teammate Right Guard (coincidentally his position is also a famous deodorant), Kyle Long stated, “He’s one of those guys that kind of have an aura about him. He walks in and he’s got his chains on and he looks sharp every day, like he just left a video shoot or something. You see him on the field and you block him and he smells good. He wears cologne. But then you get caught up in the aroma and you get hit under the chin.”
