COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Alabama’s Head Coach Nick Saban  refused to let his defensive back, Maurice Smith transfer to rival Georgia. Smith’s mom fired back claiming Saban is ruining his son’s chances of continued success. Smith also claims after he asked Saban for a transfer, he was harassed in the locker room and found his belongings in the trash. One player texted him, “Bro I can’t have u at facility. Not for workout, lunch, anything. All in or out policy. Sorry bro.” Smith will graduate from Alabama this week and has appealed his denied request for transfer.

In other college football news, Auburn Coach, Gus Malzahn, released his top rusher Jovon Robinson for missing classes and meetings and being a distraction to the rest of the team. Malzahn said, “He did not meet my standards or expectations of what it takes to be an Auburn Tiger football player.”
