Everyone was predicting a Cavaliers sweep of the Raptors in game 3, but Cleveland was held to just 35.4% shooting and went down pretty decisively to the Raptors.

Bismack BiyomboOn the final play of the game with only seconds left, Cavaliers’ Dahntay Jones hit the Raptors’ Bismack Biyombo in the groin. “I got hit in an area that I wasn’t supposed to get hit on, or a private area, so to speak,” Biyombo said after Game 3. “Whenever the league has a chance, they probably want to take a look at that. That’s all I can say on that one.” And in more officiating news, Toronto Head Coach Dwane Casey was fined $25,000 for criticizing the officials. Raptors 99, Cavs 84.

In the Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder trounced the Golden State Warriors. The game was essentially over by the end of the first half. At one point in the second half the Thunder was even up as much as 41 points. Kevin Durant had 33 points and Russell Westbrook 30 points with only 5 turnovers between them. OKC is now up 2-1 in the series. Thunder 133, Warriors 105.

HORSE RACING

Unfortunately Horse Racing fans won’t see another Triple Crown winner this year as Kentucky Derby winner, Nyquist, was defeated by his rival, Exaggerator in the Preakness this weekend. It was a devastating start to the day, however, when two horses died. 9 year old Homeboykris won the first race of the day but then collapsed on his way back to the stables and on the 4th race of the day, Pramedya broke her front leg and was immediately euthanized.
