Cavs Record 3-Pointers In Win Over Hawks, Texas A&M’s Very Bad Night

NBA

3-PointerThe Cleveland Cavaliers cruised over the Atlanta Hawks in a game 2 featuring a record 25 three-pointers. In the 36 years the 3-pointer has been in effect in the NBA, no team has scored more than 23 3-pointers in a game (regular or post-season). The game was essentially over in the first half when the Cavs set a record of 18 3’s eclipsing the previous record set by the Golden State Warriors (this season) of 12 3’s in a half. The Cavs will play game 3 Friday night. Cavs 123, Hawks 98.

FOOTBALL

The Texas A&M Aggies had a very bad night. It all started with quarterback recruit Tate Martell who announced on Twitter he was ending his commitment to Texas A&M and open to other schools. A few minutes later, A&M receivers coach tweeted about loyalty. Then things got really interesting. Another receiver, upset by the coach’s tweets, de-committed with this tweet:

The night continued like this with a number of college recruits chiming in with their dissatisfaction about the whole process. Just another example of social media gone awry.
