The Cubs’ Jake Arrieta has certainly come a long way in 3 years. On Thursday he threw his second career no-hitter with a 16-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Last season he not only threw a no-hitter but also won a Cy Young Award. What is so inspiring about this story is 3 years ago while Arrieta was pitching for the Baltimore Orioles, he was playing so poorly he was sent down to the Minors.
