IK Enemkpali Claimed By Bills, EA Sports Removes Kane From Cover, NBA Schedule Released
FOOTBALL
In the NFL, just a day after IK Enemkpali was released by the New York Jets for breaking the jaw of their starting quarterback Geno Smith, former Jets coach Rex Ryan picked up Enemkpali for his Buffalo Bills. Apparently these behavior issues don’t phase Ryan, as he’s chalking up the bad attitude to being a tough football player.  The hope is that if IK Enemkpali is this angry with the Jets, he might use that fuel on the field.
HOCKEY
In the NHL, the popular video game “NHL HOCKEY 16” was supposed to feature Chicago Blackhawks teammates Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane on the cover.  It’s being reported, however, that Kane is under investigation for aggravated domestic assault.  While Kane has not been found guilty of anything yet, EA Sports announced that it is pulling Kane from the cover and simply feature Toews. EA sports does not want to be associated with domestic violence in any way.
BASKETBALL
The NBA released its 2015/16 schedule. The season tips-off October 27th with a game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Chicago Bulls, followed by the defending champion Golden State Warriors receiving their rings before taking on Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans. The other major highlight comes on Christmas Day where the Cleveland Cavaliers will get a rematch of the Finals in Golden State with the Warriors. And of course, there is the “DeAndre Jordan” game on October 29th, where the Dallas Mavericks (who thought they had Jordan this off-season) will travel to LA to take on the Clippers (Jordan’s current team). It’s going to be another great season.
