FOOTBALL

It was reported over the weekend that New York Giants’ defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul had an injury Saturday night due to a fireworks mishap. ESPN’s Adam Schefter found his medical records and broke the story this week that that Pierre-Paul had part of his finger amputated. Pierre-Paul had a great 2014 season and the Giants offered him a one year franchise tender of $14.8 mill. Pierre-Paul hasn’t signed the offer yet and it remains to be seen if he’ll even play this season. Pierre-Paul is still in the hospital and we wish him a speedy recovery.
