Cardale Jones Stays In School, Cheese Banned In Seattle

FOOTBALL

Ohio State QB Cardale Jones wants to stay in school. Rumors were swirling that Jones, the third-string QB who led the team to victory in the first ever national championship game, would head to the NFL. Jones stated that his goal is to be an NFL player but for now he wants to stay in school and become the first member of his family to graduate college.

“The NFL has always been my goal and dream,” Jones said. “It’s literally right there in front of me, but I also have a goal to graduate. I dedicated to myself and teammates and coaching staff to be the best student-athlete I can be and to graduate. I want to make sure I meet all my goals.”

This weekend is the big conference championship games in the NFL. There are four teams left and the two winners on Sunday will meet in the Super Bowl February 1st.

CheeseheadsIn anticipation of the big Green Bay Packers (self-described Cheeseheads) vs Seattle Seahawks game in Washington on Sunday, the City Manager in Kitsap County, Washington has banned cheese consumption. The whole executive order is pretty hilarious. It also states that all branches of the local government should wear logo jerseys and Seahawks gear on the Friday before games and enjoy non-alcoholic tailgate fare at lunch.

The other big game of the weekend is the Indianapolis Colts vs the New England Patriots. This will be an exciting Sunday of football!
